CD-209

The Ruskin Model CD209-RG is designed for air balancing and control purposes in low/ medium pressure and velocity systems. The opposed blade operation is complimented by foam blade edge seals to facilitate a shut off. Double skin aluminium extrusions provide an aerofoil shaped blade for low resistance and minimum pressure drop characteristics. A 25mm wide flanged frame is constructed from 1.2mm galvanised steel, with all corner joints welded for strength and rigidity. As standard the flange is supplied plain undrilled.
The free area of each damper size is maximised by having the blade gear mechanism located outside of the airstream. The gears are from glass filled nylon with nylon bearings, alternatively brass bearings are available.
A pressed locking hand quadrant is provided as standard, with clear open or closed status stamped onto the body of the quadrant. If required dampers having factory fitted motors can be supplied or plain motor control shafts are also available.
